Sunday School

Sunday Mornings at 9:30-10:15 am during the school year (September-May).  Connect deeper with God and with one another on Sunday mornings.  There are classes for children and youth, an adult class, and a parents' fellowship.  A great opportunity to connect with others, study the Bible, and discuss questions of faith and life.

Welcome one another, therefore, just as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God. Rom. 15:7

Small Groups

Small groups are just what they sound like - small gatherings of people, getting together on a regular basis to pray, study, encourage and serve. They are a safe place to ask questions and be yourself.  A place for significant discussions about real life with people who care about you; for laughter and fun; a place to serve and use spiritual gifts; a challenging place to grow personally and spiritually and gain a deeper understanding of the Bible .  Healthy small groups create environments where, by God’s grace, life-transformation happens. So let God do something BIG in your life and think SMALL! A small group, that is.
If you are interested in joining a small group or would like more information about that group, please contact the church at (401) 333-0355 and we'll get you connected.

Choir

*Due to the coronavirus pandemic, there is no in-person choir; however we have recently begun a "virtual choir".  Please contact Derek Doura for information.*
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord! Each week our service is accompanied in worship by the Choir, led by our Director of Music, Derek Doura. The Choir is open to anyone who wishes to sing and is a great way to make lasting friendships while lifting up the community.
For more information contact Derek.

Men's Breakfasts and Ladies Fellowships

Men's Breakfast
Join the Men of Calvin on the First Saturday of each Month for a time of food and fellowship. Each month a different speaker shares what God is doing in our community.

Ladies Fellowship
The Ladies of Calvin gather quarterly for a time of fellowship and fun. Whether it's raising support and awareness of a local ministry, holding a cookie swap, or just enjoying a meal together this is a sweet time to enjoy each others company.

Meet-Ups

Whether it's a walk in the woods, an outing to a newly discovered restaurant, or a concert at the Monastery  - Calvin Meet-Ups are always fun. Each Meet-up is a different way to explore what our community has to offer in a different way.  Here are some of the ongoing Meet-Up Activities:

Monday Morning Walks, weather permitting, at the Cumberland Monastery.  Please contact Terry Hale with any questions.

Monthly Luncheon meet ups on the third Thursday of every month at 11:45 a.m. with our own version of HGTV's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.  Each month, we will choose a local diner, drive-in or dive to enjoy wonderful fellowship, support local business owners and experience some of the best and most reasonably priced food in Rhode Island.  Information for the upcoming luncheon will be posted soon!

Faithful Conversations

Fatihful Conversations are gatherings to explore what it looks like to engage in faithful conversations around current events.  We will be invited to engage in and approach these types of issues from a place of faithfulness - faithfulness to God and faithfulness to one another.  Through this, we will invite God to help us grow in our ability to speak faithfully, to listen faithfully, and to respond faithfully, all in light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
